Eldorado Canyon Lunch Horseback Riding

Las Vegas Horseback Riding doesn't get any better than this:Mount up with us and take a ride back through time to the place that, for decades, had a sordid history of notorious claim jumping, feuds and shootings during the wild  days of it’s past.

This tour offers a horseback ride featuring views of the Colorado River, explore gold and silver mines dating back to the 19th century, Miners’, Cowboys and Indians were the primary residents of this lawless land, on this tour you will have the opportunity to visit some of their o riginal homes sites and experience a re-creation of an “Old West Mining Town”.

The ride treks along paths that were originally used for mule driven ore carts that carried precious minerals to the river.

On this Las Vegas Horseback Tour, we’ll be riding on mountain terrain, surrounded by forests of cholla cactus, with towering, multicolored rock formations as the backdrop for this incredibly scenic tour.

Step right into the pages of history, with a walking tour of the Techatticup mine. We will venture deep into this rumored haunted gold mine and visit 3 different shafts, one of which drops down to over 900 feet. Learn how the hardiest of men labored feverishly looking for GOLD ! Chiseling their way through the mountainside inch by inch, with the most primitive of tools and working by candlelight.

The lunch stop at our Old West Town will take you back in time, featuring foundations from one of the original Mining Camps of the 1800’s. Enjoy a delicious BBQ Lunch (Spring/Summer is Picnic Lunch)under our covered Pavilion, listening to the sound of a natural spring that furnishes precious water to the desert wildlife in the area. This natural spring attracts big horn sheep, the kit fox and a variety of desert wildlife, so look closely as not to miss the creatures that blend into the natural landscape of the desert.

  • Must be 8 or older to ride horse
  • Under 18 must have Parent/Guardian Present
  • No sandals, open toed shoes, or high heels
  • Sturdy shoes or boots only
  • 250 lb weight limit

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

  • 24 Cancellation Policy.
    Reservations cancelled less than 24 hours prior to tour date will be charged the total amount of the reservation to the card used for the reservation.
    20% deposit required to book
  • Balance due 7 days prior to tour date
  • Reservations cancelled 7+ days prior to tour date receive full refund of all payments
  • Reservations cancelled 3-6 days prior to tour date receive 50% refund if payment has been made in full.
  • Reservations cancelled 3-6 days prior to tour date that have not been paid in full receive no refund, 20% deposit paid when reserved will be applied to the cancellation fee.
  • Reservations cancelled 2 or less days prior to tour date receive no refunds



  • You will be picked up at your hotel in a comfortable, safe Shuttle or Bus and transported to the Eldorado Canyon, just 45 minutes from Las Vegas.

  • First up is a walking tour of the historical Techatticup Mine.

  • You will be greeted by friendly and experience wranglers who will provide you with a Safety Orientation before you start your trail ride.

  • After your trail ride, you'll return to our Old West Town and enjoy a delicious meal.

  • Allow 5- 6 hours hotel to hotel
