What a perfect land and water tour from Las Vegas: A paddle on Lake Mead and a sightseeing tour in the Valley of Fire State Park!

Lake Mead was the country's first National Recreation area,dedicated in 1964, and with the construction of Hoover Dam, Lake Mead became the largest man made lake in the western hemisphere. The Valley of Fire State Park is Nevada's oldest, and largest state park, and the fiery red rocks and unique sandstone rock formations are a photographer's dream.

We will launch our kayaks near Echo Bay on the northern end of Lake Mead (about a 1 hours drive from Las Vegas). As you paddle the cool clear waters of Lake Mead, you will be surrounded by towering mountains of different shapes and colors, the perfect backdrop for this adventure.

Hoover Dam Kayak Adventure

Best Hoover Dam Kayak Tour from Las Vegas! We launch on Lake Mead and paddle the vessels up to the dam, just under a mile from launch point to the mighty Hoover Dam. Great spot for some pictures of you and your friends/family with the dam as your background!

The drive to the launch point is approximately 32 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, and your entertaining guide will fill you in on Las Vegas and Boulder City history. We will pass over the new Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge on the way to Lake Mead. We will venture deep into this rumored haunted gold mine and visit 3 different shafts, one of which drops down to over 900 feet. Learn how the hardiest of men labored feverishly looking for GOLD ! Chiseling their way through the mountainside inch by inch, with the most primitive of tools and working by candlelight.

After your Mine Tour, a short drive takes us to the Colorado River where the Steamboats of yesteryear were loaded with ore and precious minerals from the Eldorado Mines. The views on the river can’t be described, as you leisurely paddle your way around this historic area. This is a unique day trip aboard a motor-assisted raft which allows the visitor to leisurely enjoy and share in the history, desert wildlife and beauty in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River.

At this time, you will board our large comfortable rafts which have been carefully constructed with your party's safety in mind. They have multiple air chambers and are outfitted with all of the Coast Guard required and recommended safety equipment.

Whitewater Rafting-Marysvale, UT

Come on up to Marysvale, Utah where we have Whitewater Rafting on the Sevier River.

The Sevier River flows through scenic Marysvale valley, surrounded by mountain peaks rising up to 12,189 feet. It then enters Marysvale Canyon and begins a drop of 60 feet per mile. The steep canyon walls present a scenic backdrop with formations and sheer cliffs rising 500 feet above the rivers course.

This is not a "sit back and let someone else have all the fun" trip: you will be an integral part of a team navigating your raft through these exciting rapids. Your Trip Leader will give you a great Orientation before you begin, and throughout the float will fill you in on interesting facts about the River and surrounding area.
